The word “Advent” means “Coming” or “Arrival”.
When Jesus was born, God called him Emmanuel, which means “God with us”.

Join us this December as we journey through “Advent” the Series.

The focus of the entire season is the celebration of the birth of Jesus the Christ in his First Advent, and the anticipation of the return of Christ the King in his Second Advent. Advent is a season of waiting and preparation.

Thus, Advent is far more than simply marking a 2,000-year-old event in history. It is celebrating a truth about God, the revelation of God in Christ whereby all of creation might be reconciled to God. That is a process in which we now participate, and the realization of which we anticipate.
So, whatever might be going on in your life right now, let’s bring it to Immanuel – God with us.

Isaiah 9: 6 For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

Join in the Advent celebration — individually, with your families and as we gather together as a community.
