Spring Preview

Spring …. We are in the very beginning of what is appearing to be a beautiful spring here in Nashville. Spring is a time when getting outdoors takes on new importance. The rains and cold of winter are diminishing and we look forward to warmer days to come.
Mosaic in the spring typically mirrors the spring rhythms of newness, growth and life. This spring the community of Mosaic prays that our lives might continue to be formed around the gospel, our new identity in Jesus and the rhythms in which He and his followers lived.

Easter with Mosaic
Palm Sunday March 20th Mosaic Gathers in the Round & the Lord’s Supper
Easter March 27th Mosaic Gathers to celebrate God, who changed everything

Easter_CrownofThorns_157x157Mosaic enters the Easter Season with the thought, “This Changes Everything.”
Easter is the celebration of God changing the course of history forever. It’s the celebration of a Hero who would go to the ends of the earth and back to save what is lost, to mend what is broken, and to give freedom to those enslaved. Easter is about the impossible becoming possible, the hopeless finding hope, and the dead coming to life.

1 Corinthians 15 says: 21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also comes through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive

Connecting with Community

LegoPeopleWalking into a community for the first time can be a threatening thing… we try to be welcoming and helpful to everyone who comes through the door, but we recognize that it takes some times to get one’s bearings. With that in mind, here are some of the ways you can become integrated into the MOSAIC community.

Hang out before and after our gatherings on Sunday– get to know some new people, greet others, have lunch with some new people, discuss the morning and your week.

Welcome Coffee- When someone’s been around for a couple of weeks, we try to hook them up with someone who’s been around for a while for coffee, sharing stories, and just generally saying “hello.” Haven’t had your welcome coffee yet, ready to take others out for a cup of coffee, let us know.
