A Mosaic Sermon Series

A Mosaic Sermon Series

God’s big-picture story is one of restoration. It’s of reconnection with a big, mysterious, loving God. God, through Jesus, become one of us in order to connect with us, in order to create wholeness out of our brokenness. It’s a picture of restoration. It’s a picture of becoming truly human.

We talk about spiritual formation, being transformed into the image of Christ. It’s a process of becoming what God intends us to be. Change is uncomfortable, so to take the journey is difficult, sometimes even painful. But it’s through that process that we can begin to understand who we are and who God is.

Hebrews 12: 10 For they disciplined us for a short time based on what seemed good to them, but He does it for our benefit, so that we can share His holiness.

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

This becoming business can be messy, but it’s a process. That means every day is a new day to gain a glimpse into who God is and who He created us to be, “A Peculiar People.”

Join us for the next 6 weeks as we explore Hebrews 13 and as Mosaic continues to open ourselves up to God and allows God to shape and change us into a Peculiar People.
