Strength in Crisis

Strength in Crisis

Where do I get the power to handle the crises of life? My problems, the national problems, the tragedy we’re facing. Where do I get that strength?

When your heart is breaking and when you’re confused and when you’re angry because of a tragedy, don’t turn away from God. Turn toward God.

When you don’t understand the circumstance don’t run from God. Run to Him.
And ask Him for strength because He’s got the strength that you need.

Take a few moments to Read, Reflect, Worship & Grow strong in the ways of Jesus:

Psalm 105:1 Give thanks to Yahweh, call on His name; proclaim His deeds among the peoples. 2 Sing to Him, sing praise to Him; tell about all His wonderful works! 3 Honor His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek Yahweh rejoice. 4 Search for the Lord and for His strength; seek His face always. (HCSB)

Job 12:13 Wisdom and strength belong to God; counsel and understanding are His. (HCSB)

Psalm 3:5 I lie down and sleep;I wake again because the Lord sustains me. 6 I am not afraid of the thousands of people who have taken their stand against me on every side. (HCSB)

Psalm 37:39 The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord, their refuge in a time of distress. 40 The Lord helps and delivers them; He will deliver them from the wicked and will save them because they take refuge in Him. (HCSB)

When you focus on God – it’s understanding our real design. That strength, knowing God’s power, can flow into your life as you worship Him. As you pray, as you talk to Him, as you praise Him, as you think about Him.

Psalm. 63:1 God, You are my God; I eagerly seek You. I thirst for You; my body faints for You in a land that is dry, desolate, and without water.

Focus on God continually. Stay connected to Him. Talk to Him constantly. Read His word. Lean into His Promises. Stay connected and keep focused. Be a voice of Hope to Others.

Psalm. 63:2 So I gaze on You in the sanctuary to see Your strength and Your glory. 3 My lips will glorify You because Your faithful love is better than life. 4 So I will praise You as long as I live; at Your name, I will lift up my hands. (HCSB)
